On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Conference we are preparing a series of additional activities including a Special Session at the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao featuring an invited talk by the Nobel laureate Prof. Dudley R. Herschbach.
Please note that the Conference dinner will be held the last day of the Conference, following the end of the scientific program.

When: 6 pm
The City of Bilbao acknowledges the importance of the 25th International Conference on High Resolution Molecular Spectroscopy that will take place in the city welcoming the attendees with a cocktail in which representatives of the City Council of Bilbao will participate.
September 4th, 2018
Where: Departure from Bizkaia Aretoa-UPV/EHU
The assistants of 25HRMS International Conference will experience Bilbao like a local, accompanied by a guide which will make sure to show them the most famous and touristic landmarks and the hidden gems only known by “bilbaínos”.
September 5th, 2018
Where: Guggenheim Museum
The Bilbao 2018 Conference will have a special 25th Anniversary Session featuring a conference by the Nobel Laureate Professor Dudley R. Herschbach entitled Joyful Pursuit of Molecular Dynamics and Spectra. Prof. Hershbach will receive in this Session the “Miguel Catalán” Medal of the Division of Atomic and Molecular Physics (GEFAM) of the Spanish Societies of Physics (RSEF) and Chemistry (RSEQ)”. After the conference, the assistants will be able to visit the Guggenheim Museum with a special rate ticket, only accreditation will be required at ticket office.
September 6th, 2018
Where: Maritime Museum
60 minutes to visit the center of Bilbao from the Nervión estuary. Attendees will embark on the Maritime Museum, sail to the City Hall, return to the Zorrozaurre riverbank and disembark at the Maritime Museum.
September 7th, 2018
Where: Jauregia Restaurant
at Euskaduna Conference Centre
The conference dinner will take place inside the Euskalduna Conference Centre, a spectacular building designed by architects Federico Soriano and Dolores Palacios to resemble a ship under construction, because it stands on the site formerly occupied by the Euskalduna shipyard. Following the dinner the Conference organization will award the Plíva, University of Valladolid and PCCP prizes to the best oral presentations and posters from students. Finally, the Dr. Barbara Mez-Starck Foundation will award their annual International Prize.
